Deciding the Order of CPA Assessments

Prior to the start of each assessment cycle, Planning staff recommends an order for the CPA assessments based on priority. Planning staff analyzes data available for all 12 CPAs to identify those with high development pressure, low livability, and vulnerable populations. Those areas with a high need for more immediate planning attention are recommended to go first. City Council makes the final decision about the order of the CPA assessments.
